His debut album “Postcards & Daydreaming” will be released in Australia on March 22nd, 2008 on ABC/WEA

Thinking about & working on the next video, already started demo’ing tracks for the new album in which we’re shooting for a Fall 2008 release.

He also played Canadian Music Week just before heading south to Austin. Three gigs in two days, two of ‘em on the same night. Whatta champ. And him jumping of the stage of the Reverb, gathering the 100+ audience members into a tight circle around him for his closing number (”Basket”) was a moment I won’t soon forget.

He’ll be touring Quebec through out July … we’ll be posting those date’s here as soon as we have ‘em!

Dan Mangan sang the American and Canadian national anthems at the Vancouver Canucks hockey game on January 23, 2008. Vancouver beat the St. Louis Blues 3-2 in a shoot out.

Dan Mangan is performing at The Big Indie night at Coldsnap 2008 at The Art Space in Prince George, BC. Other performers include Maurice, Said The Whale, Melissa McClelland, and Cara Luft.

Dan will head to Ashcroft, BC in early February to start his next record with Producer John Ellis (Be Good Tanyas, Leeroy Stagger, Ridley Bent, Barney Bentall)
